Chitra’s interest in helping individuals discover their strengths, values and inner potential through a collaborative exploratory process led her to follow her passion to make a mid-career change. After 30 years of working in Human Resources across India, USA and Singapore, she has gained a well-rounded understanding of cultures, diverse issues and challenges. Chitra believes that every individual is unique, and each writes their own exceptional story.

With over 4 years of experience in counselling, assessments and therapy, Chitra offers counselling to adolescents, young adults and adults on a broad range of counselling issues, cognitive/behavioural problems, depression, anxiety, self-esteem development, and relationship problems. She enjoys working with youths and young adults as she sees this phase of life as a crucial stage of self-realisation and exploration.

Chitra practices an integrative approach to therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Self-Compassion based strategies to assist her clients identify the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and actions. Chitra’s non-judgmental and client-centred approach guides clients towards self-awareness and inner resourcefulness, translating into healing, growth and change.
