Sandhya is an experienced mental health professional who believes everyone should have access to quality therapy. She creates a safe space for clients, whether they are looking to navigate through hardships or develop a greater sense of fulfilment in their lives. In her sessions, Sandhya draws on techniques from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy.
In addition to a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology, Sandhya has a Master's in Learning Intervention (Specific Learning Difficulties) from the University of Melbourne, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia and a Diploma in Learning Disorders Management and Child Psychology. She has over a decade of experience with children and youth with diverse needs in both Australia and Singapore. Outside of counselling, she channels her expertise into the non-profit sector where she works with vulnerable communities to ensure access to quality education, healthcare, and livelihoods. As an active member of advisory committees for several non-profit organizations dedicated to families, children, and differently-abled communities, Sandhya is deeply committed to creating more inclusive systems where people from all backgrounds can thrive.

Outside of work, Sandhya enjoys a variety of activities including reading, comedy, hiking, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She provides counselling services in English, speaks basic Bahasa Indonesia and French, and is currently learning Arabic.
